eSite Modular is the world’s first purpose-built telecom site power system. eSite Modular is designed, according to telecom standards, to withstand harsh electrical and environmental conditions and will provide trouble free operation at the industry's lowest TCO.
eSite Modular features tamper-proof Converter Units with passive convection cooling, mounted on the sides of a battery cabinet. The rugged and fan-less design requires no maintenance and keeps excessive heat away from the cabinet and batteries. The Converter Units are available in three different versions and can be combined to suit any site power need, from small good-grid sites up to off-grid hybrid sites with dual gensets and solar power.
The cabinet is prepared for easy integration of two Converter Units and hosts the battery bank, all cable management and user interfaces for easy and fast installation. The cabinet is developed for use with Li-ion battery banks and has a space for up to 34 U of battery capacity.
The Remote Monitoring and Control (RMC) unit operates all power-related functions on site and secures optimal site performance. It controls the Converter Units, makes sure that data and alarms are available to the eSite Tools RMS system, and provides a web interface via the local Wi-Fi or Ethernet access point on site for commissioning and configuration of the system.
The RMC supports several different interfaces for communication to site equipment such as a Li-ion BMS, Genset AMF panels, on-Site RMS gateways and various digital and analogue sensors and actuators. The Power Combiner Unit (PCU) contains all necessary DC power distribution and MCB:s. In its standard design, the PCU is preconfigured to support up two Converter Units and can route power to up to ten (10) tenants with two level loads disconnect and individual tenant energy measurements.
The following table lists the possible site combinations of two (2) eSite Modular Converter Units of the available versions (RE, SE and RSE) and the rated solar and rectifier power capacity for each configuration, respectively.

As can be seen from the table, the total maximum power capacity for two Converter Units ranges from 10.5 kW (1 RE unit) to 34.2 kW (2 RSE units).
All external communication interfaces for the eSite Modular system are found on the RMC, located at the top of the battery cabinet.
System access for configuration, site information, and troubleshooting can be achieved remotely or locally. Locally on site, the system can be accessed via Wi-Fi or LAN using a smartphone or laptop. Remote connection is possible via the built-in modem and the eSite Tools RMS system. This requires an installed SIM card for mobile network communication. A SIM card is not included with the product.
