2 Introduction
2.1 Product overview
eSite x10 is the world’s first patented site power unit purpose-built to withstand challenging outdoor telecom site environments. It is a sealed, tamper-proof unit with no moving parts and passive convection cooling for outdoor temperatures up to 50 °C. eSite x10 reduces diesel-related costs by combining hybrid battery control with solar power, intelligent grid power harvesting, and optimal genset control. eSite x10 can be delivered with different site configurations.
Deployment planning is simplified by having a unit that can handle all site types including:

shelter site upgrades
upgrades re-using existing battery cabinets and roof-tops
