4 Connection Compartment

4.1 Introduction

The Main Compartment is docked to the Connection Compartment, which is shown in figure 4.1.

The Connection Compartment, including the Lower Main, is the user access point to eSite x10 where all power and communication connections are made.

The Connection Compartment is designed to facilitate connectivity and to make the installation and commissioning process as smooth and intuitive as possible. Power cables from batteries, genset, grid, solar, and load are connected to their respective connection points on the bus bars in the Connection Compartment, and all signal cables are connected to the I/O ports on the Lower Main.
